I was born in 1995 in the beautiful town Apeldoorn in The Netherlands. With a wonderful sister, a loving brother, the most amazing mom and dad, a gorgeous little niece and my entire family, including my dearest friends and people I know from all over the world… I am a very blessed and grateful young woman.
When I was 5 years old I started doing gymnastics until I was 15. I trained 33 hours a week and dedicated my whole life to it. It was a tough life, but it left me some wonderful and unforgettable memories. After this I started dancing at a pre-academic level, but not much later I felt like I was living a tunnel visioned life that only evolved around physical exhaustion. It was time to try something different. I’ve always had interest in human behavior and wanting to help people out, so I decided to do a study in Applied Psychology. Being in school never was one of my favorite things – in which I think I am not the only one – but it did lead me to the right direction. I love to learn and decided to start educating myself.
Even though I am a very extrovert and social person, I also like my solitude. I can spend hours and hours alone at home, reading and watching documentaries. There is so much information out there and I just can’t get enough of expanding my knowledge. Realizing that knowledge is of no value unless it is put into practical use, it is a real challenge to apply what you have learned to your daily life and keep on reconstructing your belief system. Luckily, I love to challenge myself in improving my life and the world around me.
Recently I started practicing Qigong martial arts, where I learn to cultivate, strengthen and firm the life force energy inside my body. I also never lost my love for dancing. One of the things I love most in life is traveling. By the age of 15 I had already visited many different countries in Europe and I had the pleasure of meeting wonderful people during my trip to New York, USA. In 2018 I traveled to Egypt on my first solo trip ever. This was a breathtaking experience where I also met some amazing people. My latest trip was a visit to Indonesia where I finally met my roots, which was very special to me. And, there is much more to see for me in the future.
I am truly in love with life and I enjoy every day. Life knows its ups and downs and I am still learning to flow with these waves. The world knows so much beauty, but being a highly sensitive and empathic person, I was never able to turn away from the other side which is still so dark and holds so much pain. I wish to find the strength and power to change this one day and create a better world together. I could call it a soul purpose, a life mission, whatever suits the imagination… In any way, I am determined and persistent and will give my all in everything I do, with love.
